New Disco Tyres ? Who makes these ??

Have just seen the details of the millionth Discovery and the trip to Beijing with it, noticed it seems to be wearing some pretty funky looking tyres. Look to be 19" as well based on the rims.

Anyone got any idea who makes this tyre ? Definitely not a tread pattern I've seen before

Hi Mike - on a side issue I was watching a segment on TV on the 2005 or 2006 G4 (the one where the RRS did not have an RAI) and noticed the tyres on the RRS looked pretty chunkie - do you know what size rims the first G4 RRSs ran (I assume 18") and what tyres did they have?

19" Goodyear MTR's on the older style HSE alloy were the standard. They didn't run them on the 18" wheel at all.

Thanks - was thinking of going back to 17" to get decent offroad rubber but might be worthwhile going the other way to 19".

The Mtrs looked good on the G4 but was surprised the RRS did not have an RAI - the D3s and Defenders had them.

    Cheers
