Thread: Awsome water crossing

The CFA as a organization has a lot to answer for I was a member for just on 20 years. I was trained in all areas including Road Accident and industrial rescue. As a result i ended up with P.T.S.D.
The CFA Acknowledged the P.T.S.D but tired to shift the blame to everyone else. After 5 long hard years and a expensive court battle they coincided it was negligence on there part.

A fellow member was turning out to a incident and was in a accident with a car. The CFA blamed him for the accident even thou he had a green light and was under lights and siren. They deregistered him as a brigade member.

The captain fron Currajung was in the brown sticky stuff for telling the public the reality of the fires in there area. He too was threatened with action to remove him

God help the member from Research FB. Althou in hindsight it was a bit foolhardy but he made a educated guess and no real harm was done. Bit of water in a cab. So what

This footage is from Christmas day 2011 downpour in Melbourne,

Driver a tad stupid, didn't slow down, hit the water at speed,
And a fair bit deeper than anticipated!

My parents live in Research and were at my place on xmas day (10 mins away ), luckily by the time they went home the water level had receded to almost normal level. I dont think his petrol patrol would have coped with that level of water.

The fourth or fifth thread on this subject to be merged.
