forgot to add that the owner of Chumley Warners at Birkdale is a Solihull lad, lived 2 streets away from the factory and went to school across the road from it and spent a lot of time looking out the window at the land rovers driving past. he commented on my disco when i drove in.

And another one - parents came out as £10 tourists, and naturally I came with them, that was 1969. I've never been back (or really had the desire to). As far as I am concerned it was one of the best decisions they had ever made.
Consider myself Aussie, and would support them against the poms (in any sport).
Got the piece of paper confirming that in 1982, headed out from the ceremony, jumped in the Rangie and headed off camping (Yadboro, I think).

I just make it as a Pom. I came out from Birmingham in 1978 at the mighty age of 5 weeks old!!!
Funny i dont have much of an affiliation with the place, but have always loved there cars thanks to my dad (originally a '68 10 pound Pom).
Most of the great British cars are my favorites like Astin Martin, Jag, TVR and of course Land Rover!!!

About time, must be embarrassing for Kellie when she introduces you, being the only Pom in the family
