We are away in the Morning

Look out Queensland, we are off in the morning, hope the floods won't inconvenience us too much.
Good run to try out the new VMS which is all set up with waypoints etc.

Looking forward to picking up the new camper trailer

We can get to Bourke OK and the road through to Cunnamulla- St George appears to be open so that's where we are heading.

I had a chat with Richard tonight. They're camped out on Putty Rd between Singleton and Windsor. We'll meet up tomorrow for coffee, etc., before he and Dru head up the Blue Mountains.

We had this strange couple turn up demanding food and drink. I tried to send them back to WA but they produced an entry ticket - a very nice bottle of red - so we let them in.

We had a great arvo. Thanks Richard and Dru for taking taking the time to stop in for lunch. We enjoyed your company.

I've got a feeling they've already been through there. They picked up their camper in Caboolture and were leaving our place to go to Lithgow (west of Sydney) then turning south.

Hi everybody, we got back on Friday evening, exhausted after 3 weeks of being on the road and only having one four day stop in Guy Fawkes NP and a 3 day stop in Glass House.

Many thanks to Ron and Elisabeth for a wonderful lunch and yak, we enjoyed your company immensely (where is spell check when you need it!).

Also met up with Incisor on the way to leaving Queensland, great to meet him after being a forum member for so long.

I'll write up a report later this week witha couple of pics, right now I'm still very tired after unpacking and cleaning the new CT plus I start a new job tomorrow.
