Wind noise from drivers door TD5

    Hello All

I have a 2000 TD5 and there is wind noise coming from the front drivers door near the rear view mirror area.

I have checked seals and they appear OK.

When I first bought the vehicle 4 years ago it was quiet as on the open road at 100 km/h but now has a wind drone coming thru.

    Any ideas

Very common on many cars for the front top corner of the window frame to flex outward over time, just from the constant outward force applied by the rubber door seal. The fix is to stand inside the open door, with the window down, take hold of the top front corner of the door frame with both hands, brace your knee against the inside of the door, and gently but firmly tug the top of the window frame inwards.
