Hi Jerry
That would be a 23 horse power TE20 petrol, is that oil on the rim of the rear wheel? if so the rear wheel bearing, oil seal will need replacing.
You probably know already, but the parts for these little tractors are cheap as.
Sparco, Bareco and Bepco, are your starting points for supply.
Are you going to return it to it's original configuration and put the 6volt electrics back in?
The other thing I would do, is fit foot plates on, as it simply makes driving a lot more safer and more comfortable.
What are the implements that came with the tractor?
.
Fergy owners seem just like old LR owners in many ways...
That could be why I have both. Thanks for the pics there great.
Dave
Hi Arthur,
The tractor hadn't moved for two years and when we towed it oil did come out from the r/hand sealHowever it seemed to have stopped when we unloaded it from the truck. All the oils in it are new and luckily nothing was seized, hoping to get it going next week when the starter motor arrives back
I'll leave it as 12 volt as it has new alternator fitted, it has a plough attachment, an auger, a slasher, a rear crane and a bucket. Unfortunately the petrol tank got thrown out so will have to replace it. I'll get some of those foot plates fitted too. I purchased it for my eldest lad as he showed quite an interest in it, hopefully he'll keep it up.
The rear tyres are past their best and will need to be replaced, the other tractor that was with it had four new tyres on it but was sold before I could swap the wheels over![]()
I've got one too & still use it on the farm

THE LAND ROVER ON A POLE, A SERIES 1... I'D LIKE IT!

Thanks for the pics and I also agree as I have both too.
Bendemeer is just up the road from me and if I wasn't at work I would have been there.
I also agree with Harry re the Vanguard. My Dad had a grey '52 4 door wagon with rear barn doors. Bit like a Land Rover as we always seemed to be working on it.Got my licence in his later 6 cylinder Estate.
