EDG60, eh. Or should I say......Eddy !!!
We got any-one up there ??
Will be heading up that way after Easter. Bloke just bought a truck, and the plan is to run said truck up there for him and fly back. Maybe stay a day or two for a bit of a look around.

There are a few members there, though I'm slack and have never met them, but hopefully they'll answer this thread. I'm 400kms inland and rarely get to Broome because I drive Land-Rovers, (i.e., I'm still working on them!).
Funnily enough, I'm supposed to go to Perth after Easter for a few things and I thought that it would be handy if someone needed a truck driven back up, though really I'm going to get a car and drive it back. So if you're going empty, try and get a load as there's always somebody that needs something shifted. It should be a good trip, now that it's cooling down a tad. Be sure to book your return ticket in good time as it's a popular flight and fills up quickly.
At any given point in time, somewhere in the world someone is working on a Land-Rover.
Going up loaded. 20ft Container with his stuff in it.
so 2 days be time enough or should I book earlier?book your return ticket in good time
I try for two weeks! Have a look at Qantas online to see how prices change. It can get pretty steep close to your preferred date. There's lots of tourist traffic, so it's one flight that's almost always busy.

. . . unless it's school holidays, and then you're really stuffed. Anyway, I might be wrong but have a look online first just in case.

A point to all the locals in advance, lovely part of the world
Broome itself to me is like Hastngs Street Noosa, Qld, all glitz and bang with lots of shoppingtourist central, thats not our thing, we prefer a simple town/life
but you may enjoy that, look further afield and there are some interesing places to see
