I just received my super pro bushes but I am left wondering one thing the instructions say remove rubber bush and clean all traces of rubber from the housing ...are they implying to get the standard bush and use the outside housing ? Or just press the Polly bushes straight into the RA ??

You just press the new bush clean into the RA, they are generic instructions

BTW, why on earth did you have the triple shell bushes ?

They are Disco/RRC ones, Deefer/110 ones have only the inner and outer shell and allow a lot more distortion/flex in the front end.

Thanks Rick just thought I would check first to be safe just incase they ment use the shell of the old bush even though that would be stupid...as for bushes they were replaced out west years ago after a tyre blow out caused some problems with the front end so we decided to get some sent out to us so happened to be them hopefully these new bushes will improve flex now

I pressed the super pro bushes (front RA-chassis SPF0206K,RA-diff SPF0195K) in but unfortunately they do not fit they are to wide plus the inner crush tube is about 4mm longer so will not fit in the diff brackets...anyone know the proper part numbers ? The chassis end ones are correct..

Auh sorry that would now make sense .... I hate all records on businesses systems as they either list the county as a defender or 110 or "country" obviously they do not realize the differences !!! I'll have to reorder then see how it goes

Sorry for the hijack CHIEF, but I'm doing my front RA ones at the moment too - and maybe you might have the same question soon (or already know the answer)

The ones I was supplied for the chassis end of the RA come with one plain bush (same shape as OEM rubber one) and a similar one that has a relieved section in the middle - presumably to allow more flex.

Anyone know which one goes in front (ie closer to the diff), or doesn't it matter. The photos I can find on the web show the kit with 2 bushes the same (neither of them have the relieved section).

Edit: Here's a photo - sorry about the poor quality:

    Steve
