    Any Vimeo Users

Anyone else that uses Vimeo to upload their videos to the forum, having any problems.I have always been able to upload my videos using the Hyperlink and the URL of the video from Vimeo and the video will show in my posts. Now when I try it,it just comes up as a link to the video. The link works OK,but a video ready to play get much more response.
    Any ideas?

I wonder whether Vimeo is having issues because i have just opened an account with them as the video software I have will upload direct to an Vimeo account as well as youtube...

it will upload to you tube fine but vimeo is having issues with errors

I was hoping i could get it to work because youtube is just becoming really painful for even the smallest video. I put a 7 min vid on the other night standard def and it took 5hrs..

Sorry I know doesn''t answer your question but at least may possibly give you a an indication as to who has the issue

    Sue

It is only showing a link to the video.
I know the link works, what should be showing is the same thing that shows in Redbacks post. The actual video, and not just the link.
Ohhh yeah, that video has no sound

Wayne your link starts https I reckon you want a link without the s (for secure). Baz's link isn't a secure link.
    Just a guess...

So you just inserted the URL of your video in the "insert Link" box as usual Baz?

It's showing the same as mine Wayne, I have noticed with some that only the link appears, but it's usually a bandwith issue, have you reached your limit?

    Baz.

    It is ok now Mark

It appears that there have been some minor changes to the paid version of Vimeo at least.
I used to be able to just hilite the video URL and copy/paste using the Hyperlink here.
But it now appears that I now have to open the video in Vimeo, then right click on it,and click on the "copy video url" link in the window that opens, and then paste that in the Hyperlink.
