A bloke in a new Range Rover with his nose up on his forehead failed to respond when I waved to him yesterday. Obviously, 17-year-old Discos don't register in His World. ;)
I have been building storage in the back of my defender the last couple of weeks so I have been out the front of the house a lot, I have gone from thinking I was the only defender in the village (Lower Beechmont) to being one of 4, I usually only get a glimpse as I have my head down but if I missed a wave then sorry. But so far I have seen a 110, 130 and today I seen the 130 and an old series I think, only got a look at the back of it.
I will try and pay more attention in future.
pat.
Actually, I was in Bellingen last weekend and was impressed with the large number of old Rangies, Discos and Defenders I saw there. Definitely appears to be a higher concentration than normal for that size town. Maybe its because Bellingen is the type of town to attract people who are a bit 'individual', so might lean towards LRs.
There was a very nice Stornoway(?) grey Deefer 110 with chequerplate in all the usual places, smick looking roof rack etc. outside Sushi Train @ Nerang today.
& I passed a pale blue (maybe duck egg blue?) County towing a 20'-odd cruiser called 'Mother of Ducks' heading south on the M1.
Just seen in Beenleigh
Know who they are but nice to see them about
