Thread: Busted Rear Window

On our trips I tape some yoga mat rubber over our rear windows, but the last thing I expected was a stone thru the rear window in the suburbs .

But yesterday heard an almighty bang from the back.

Realised what it was when I got to the next job, busted rear window, Im guessing a stone ricochetted of the trades trailer. The tint was holding it together.

Got on the blower to the local glass bloke - $280 specifically told him it was the one set in rubber with rounded corners & he brings out a square bottom one - DOH !! , then follow him back to base to get the right one - now have to get it retinted . bugger !!! Should have stayed in bed yesterday ..

on the way home from Sydney so was on autopilot I guess.
