    Why do all that
Normal Arb bar will take a high mount with out any mods to the bull bar

No it wont, you cant even get a low mount on without mods to the front grill, let alone fitting a HM.. I went through all this on Sat morning at ARB, Kylsyth.

Yes you cannon had a high mount warn on my Arb bar back 10 years ago

You place of solid metal spacer between the winch and front of the bar. This make it so the top of the winch can clear the bar that is in the way

Then you buy rover v8 head bolts ( the middle size ones And cheap as from land rover dealers). Which are the same strange thread as the warn ones and fit perfectly.

Here is a pic of my old 90 with one fitted on with the Arb bar. This was my old winch challenge truck

Very happy with my Warn 9.5xp, yes it was expensive, and I've hardly ever needed it, but when I did need it I would have been screwed without it.

I did a thread a few years ago on it's fitting:

    G'day Reads and Tim,

They look like very different bars to whats on offer now. The new bars now are lower in the middle section. As in, the wings actually turn up so their on a "slope" for the first say 3 inches from the middle, then flatten out to the ends,, Then the centre section is in two parts, (to allow for extra air flow).
I'm trying to see if I can find a pic to show you, but I'm not having much luck with the camera.

Sorry, I'd forgotten ARB had changed their design.
