30/30...
all easy questions some that were spoken of here and a healthy dose of "my true talent in life is keeping you guessing as to where my talent stopped and my luck began"

Every time you do the test you get a different set of questions, which is interesting.
I had five students lined up side by side doing the tests yesterday. They are all former refugees practicising to get their licences here. One of them got 30/30 so he did better than me!![]()
28/30 for me. I got confused with the hand signals as the arm wasn't movingnor did it show the direction of movement.
When I arrived here in 1996 I had to take the full driving test in Adelaide, I only just passed as he was very strict. One thing I got pulled up for was failing to signal when turning into a parking space in a Park Carpark. There was no-one else in the Carpark at the time!!!!
When my wife took her test in Melbourne (6 months later) all the instructor did was let her drive down the road a bit and he said "You'll do"!!

When I first did the test a very long time ago the police sargeant, who knew my father, asked me a couple of really easy questions, got me to drive around the block and passed me. Glad I don't have to do it now.
Our daughter was failed on her first attempt before she even got out of the motor registry! There was a stop sign at the exit just before the footpath and she failed to come to a complete stop, even though no pedestrians were in sight. Failed.

Are those the real question?
Seem a bit simple to me.
I see your point, but I would have thought it would be more dangerous to slow or even stop to let that car go past and then try to enter a moving traffic flow from a stand still - I have seen some big prangs happen that way.
I'll stick to accelerating and moving in front of them - if they get the ****s with that, the number of my company is printed in 200mm high letters on the tailgate of the dunny door - they can ring my boss and have it out with him...![]()

that is an old favourite i think, there seems to be a stop sign outside most rta centres.
having done the test i should hand my license back!
i had to do the full test including pass a driving test when i came over from the uk, these days you just hand in the uk license and get given a australian one in return.![]()
