Yeah I received a trial account about a month ago and been loving it! I've started listening to more music again (like I use to).

You can definitely sign up without Facebook.
It's web based, not iPad based. (So works any computer with a browser, MAC, PC, etc).
There is also iPhone and iPad apps, however you have to purchase the premium service for these.

Just go to Grooveshark, no need for Facebook or any other fancy gizmo.

I can't seem to work out how to sign up without Facebook. If someone has managed this, can they post step by step instructions for computer muppets like me?

I hate sites that automatically assume you have a Facebook account...
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

If you have Realplayer installed on your comp and you open a you tube video clip or even a grooveshark video clip or any similar, then Realplayer will download that video for you. You would be surprised at what you can download this way. Anyway say you download a video clip of a song you like, Realplayer will extract the song and save it as an mp3.

I am not suggesting that anyone should do this as I don't know if you will download something you shouldn't. Just saying nothing is impossible.
