Im probably going to regret this...
bring it over for a look see.
I have a bike radiator which has brass top and bottom tanks.
The sides are some other metal (steel or alloy) while the screen (to protect the core/vanes) fits to a separate shroud.
I want to get rid of the shroud so it looks "cleaner", replacing the sides of the radiator also with brass, and having a screen bit into (or onto) the front of the radiator itself. It'd look great all polished up and fit with what I want the bike to eventually look like.
But I have no ability to do this myself and was wondering is someone out there is up to it?
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

If you've benefited from one or more of my posts please remember, your taxes paid for my skill sets, I'm just trying to make sure you get your monies worth.
If you think you're in front on the deal, pay it forwards.
We have a fella in Newcastle NSW that does the brass radiators for us on the veteran cars, he welds them with like metal i think (the brass tank) but i'll have to go and have a look at the SCAT to confirm its not solder, dad welded the bonnet support moulding that is attached to the fire wall with like metal and an oxy, but it is slow and labourous. I can get his name if you want, just have to ask him if he will do the like metals, but it will be $$$$$$$
You need to find a coppersmith. Most would now be retired or elderly. Try the Yellow Pages and the Veteran/Vintage Car Clubs. Most of their work was in shipyards and dockyards so some enquiries in those areas may bear fruit.
