    Suit or Sports Coat Brisbane

    Hi all,
I am looking to purchase a suit or sports coat for a fair and reasonable price from a seller that offers a large range of sizes and cuts.
You see I am 'portly' in the old money and most shops I have been to recently are only able to offer a larger size, not a larger cut, so they hang badly at the shoulders to get the girth I require.
    Anyone know a place?
Preferably on Bris north side or in city.
If I had the cash I would go mtm but can't justify the cash. I also want to wear it in a fortnights time.

    Cheers

I also am of the porky persuasion, from beer, and I have found Sports jackets at the Salvo's!

It's a great shopping experience and it's a good turn both ways!!!

After getting into my 40's and never having owned a jacket I've recently had a few occasions when one was required. So bought one. I too am suffering from a chest thats slipped. After much shopping around I ended up buying from Tom Browne at Chermside shopping Centre. There pricing was okay, but it was the service of the guy who helped me, he chose the size, style pretty much everything and made it a very easy experience. To me clothes shopping is the worst kind.

What surprised me when looking around is that complete suits can be had for under a hundred. I tried one of them on and I felt cheap.
The jacket i got, I feel smart in it.

Great minds think alike! I visited there today, probably the same chap, but I was pleased with the result as I am also getting some tailoring done. I was also surprised that I could buy a whole suit for less but then I had the cheese and kisses with me and chose a nice jacket.

    Cheers
