    Smile A tree-mendous moment

Was over the weekend out with others. We came across this little ol tree that had been notched out and the ground under dug out. Was still only good for 4wd`s of a certain height and empty roof racks.

No problem. I'lI just rip out my new beut mini hand saw and have that baby chopped up in NO time.
Bugger me though that's a descent tree.
Where were you ? And if like me wouldn't have a chance getting under that was there a cheat track around it.

With all that gear hanging off the 90, I think the owner should have bought a 110 instead.

It would be quite a challenge to remove that tree and there appears to be quite a bit of useful timber in it.
Ummmm ............... a few Landy's harnessed together, a decent drag chain, a portable mill and you could build yourself a decent little bush hut.

It seems that whenever a gap is cut in trees that have fallen across fire trails down this way, the work is done by someone who drives something the width of a Suzuki Sierra.

It's not hanging off the door hinges, it's on a spare wheel carrier.

Still, not what I would do.

Roger, a tree that size would drag a few Landies along with it down the hill if it was played around with.
My motto is don't try and move something with drag chains that weighs several times more than the dragger and is hanging off the side of a cliff, you just may get the ride of your life, Regards Frank.

I wonder if that was felled deliberately in hope of closing the track?
