Just read your first post Digger; excellent stuff - was a huge Batman fan in my 8's - 11's in the late 60's and collected all the Batman bubble gum cards etc.
    Great stuff

Only thing I can see is that maybe there are 3, 4 or 5 boys?
(you have said half are boys but not that other half are girls or arent boys.)

A farmer in California own a beautiful pear tree. He supplies the fruit directly to a nearby grocery store.
The store owner has called the farmer who is a good friend to see how much fruit is available for him to purchase.
The farmer thinks hard and realises he knows that the main trunk has 24 branches.
Each branch has exactly 12 boughs and each bough has exactly 6 twigs.
Since each twig bears one piece of fruit, how many plums will the farmer be able to deliver?
