Not the case, I've had more modified rovers than alot here, so many engine combinations I've either owned and built, wired or completely installed, I've spent most of my grown life fitting engines in things that don't belong

Windsors, chev's, petrol and diesel, turbo charged, supercharged, Isuzu's, to many to list of my own, then there is others I've done, finally a culmative decisions that suits has to be made

I've just been on the phone again, that's 3 side by side conversions and an importer that will let me load a container with LBZ 6.6's and Allison auto's

Tis a shame, the 120" was built with Russia in mind, but then babies came along, life priorities change and it has become not so practical, to be honest it just sits idle

So I need something to drive, but I can't have something normal, never have, and 600HP 392388newtonkilometres of torque seems to tickle my fancy, unfortunately at his time something A/C equipped (I hate A/C) numerous seats and relatively quiet and with decent range needs to be accuired/built

Time restraints add to the fact that I need not have umpteen projects unused nor will they be used practically for the next 5 years

Oh the shame in it all
i guess you have thought about a suburban 2500HD? duramax, 6 spd allison auto, big fuel range, no adapters and mods just get in and use it. I've driven a couple quite like them if i was to tour with a few kids and a van etc....

nothing wrong with GU's, they are good trucks.....Id like to see one with longer RA's and ditch the rear 4 link + panhard for a Wishbone set up, raise the roll center. (nissans roll centers are lower in the rear...)

...tough in the drivetrain but boring to drive. dead boring. about 1/50th of the character of a 110. yes i have driven quite a few, even modded fully decked tourers and still find them uninspiring. my 27 year old county makes me smile every time i drive it

maybe with a duramax and 1000 series allison i might just change my mind, but then i would possibly just go out and buy a suburban....
