It's not an uncommon modification. It worked out a lot cheaper and better to put these in after the 3L turned into a hand grenade. If you could pick a Patrol up with a blown engine you could get a bargain.Quote:

Yea I'll try to source Allison 6 speed then buil it to sustain the 550hp tune, drove down in another dudes 4.5 auto ti, my god, it's like a stock 3.5 727 auto 1:1 high range classic, hideously slow!Quote:
