I've found a fellow in Footscray who advertises he sells 6.00x16, 7.00x16, 7.50x16 and 9.00x16 bar treads. I'll be calling him soon to find out if he can deliver what he advertises.
Yes Mick, I knew what you were after, but the enlarged part threw me. I'm not sure if I missed the size mentioned or it was added after the OP.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

OKA's came with 16" split rims with either 825 or 900R16's. There was a factory fitted option of 265 or 285/70R19.5's. These are a trailer (as in low loader) rim and tyres are all '70' profile. I have 305/70R19.5's on our OKA.

Don't know what the 325/85's are off but the batch(s) I've seen vary from brand new to about half worn. I was told they are replaced when 3 years old regardless of wear. A real good aggressive quality tyre but I reckon it would be pretty hard work fitting them on a Landy.

Maybe they're off the Bushmasters ?

The 8 wheel drive personnel carrier: ASLAV does. The tyre place opposite truck city in Darwin gets them in fairly regularly both the second hand ones and the out of date new ones.

I put 4 on a Suzuki for the hell of it, it floated with them was the two stroke jobbie can't remember the model had to take the body off to fit them

I'm not sure exactly which vehicles run the xml's but when talking to michelin they mentioned that they were a large buyer of these tyres. Sometimes when they run general service trucks like mitsubishi canter 4x4's etc. they will run these tyres if they do a little more off roading than usual it doesn't have to be specialist hard hitting off road vehicles to get these tyres.

An employer of mine fitted 325x85x16 on widened rims to his 101 a few years back. The unsprung weight increase was significant with these very heavy tyres, with thick sidewalls that wouldn't bag out when tyre pressure was reduced for offroad work. Really too heavy for anything smaller than a Canter or similar load carrier.

Yeah they are a truck tyre, those ASLAV's must be the better part of 10 tonnes + fully loaded; which means 5 + tonnes for a 4 wheeled vehicle.

So while they look cool and are a impressive off road tyre they are at the end of the day for trucks, which at the mimimun would be a light truck size not a landy sized (weight) vehicle.

Taken fron the the Oka technical data on their web site:
OKA NT 4x4 Pop-Top Camper Van
Oka standard tyres: 285/70R 19.5 Contiental HDR
    option: 335/80R20 Michelin XZL tyres on 9.00” x 20” 3 piece rims
