Certified pallets are clearly marked with code to show the country of origin, manufacturer and method of treatment. Timber marked HT is heat treated and safe to dispose of or burn. Timber marked MB is treated with methyl bromide and is not safe to burn.

Digging this up again. I'm now sick of waiting for my D2 to come home, and thought I'd check out getting an auto from Ashcroft's. Is there any more recent advice on importing something like that?
I know I'm not the only one interested.
