Well, I've just picked the Rangie up from my indie. I should survive, I'm told we only need one kidney.
It's had a new water pump, thermostat, belt tensioner, belts and transmission cooler.
While there the transmission got a birthday present.
On the way home, the air con got warmer and hotter. Once home, there was no condensation puddle under the car, as is usual.
I'm suspecting the gas has escaped. My question is, how do I trace the source of the leak, so I can decide if the repair is within my scope of practice?
I realise I will have to pay a professional to regas it.
