Were you my mate's teacher Des? He did a boilermaker apprenticeship at a shipyard in Glasgow. When the tools and equipment had to be cleared from a ship, by the apprentices, careful aim and a sledgehammer took care of any gas bottles.
He reckons rising sea levels is caused by the all the metals in the River Clyde. [bigrolf]
Did they ever start your name beginning wit a P?
There has been a Drink/Driving ad on TV here, maybe there too. A drink Driver refers to himself as a Selfish *****. as he drives past various accident scenes. Changing times??? As in rick 130. No rick. I didn't call you, I was just mentioning the fact to the Troops that things are a changing.:BigThumb::Rolling:
I'm told we only need one kidney.
That's a fact. 'er indoors has only one thingamajig & was born like it. No-one could find a reason for the terrible pain she experienced from time to time not even the bloke with the Magic Egg Beater (no kid [bigrolf])that guaranteed the cure & it was down to an olde SA Sturgeon to locate the problem & remove the offending ill formed bits. What ****ed me off was that her parents didn't seem to give flying **** until I came along & she suffered for years with it. (No not me, the problem, you understand[biggrin]) She now has been living with it like this for about 60 years.
Sorry, what was the question?:rulez:
"Just glad i have moved on from modernish LR's[bighmmm]"
Hmm,well, unfortunately, i just spoke too soon, one of the vans came up with a fault code today,Mr Google says it is an injector[bawl][bawl]
So that will be at least half a kidney for sure....:BigCry:
I can hear the tech already,"they are all the same age,so probably be best to do them all" FFS,but luckily there are only 4[biggrin][bigsad]
Anyway, back on topic, this guy needs the dunce award.:wallbash:
"When the owner of a NSW central coast refrigeration company noticed a discrepancy in their purchase and return records, it triggered an investigation that ultimately led to the conviction of an employee for the theft of 30 bottles of refrigerant.
The employer reported that their employees purchased refrigerant under the company’s RTA and stored it in their work vans. He became suspicious when one of his employees had not been returning his unused refrigerant. The employee said he had stored the refrigerant at his home, but the owner noticed refrigerant for sale on Facebook Marketplace, and it turned out to be the stolen refrigerant."
For those not in the industry,Refrigerants are a controlled substance, and we have to account for it all, keep records, etc, etc, bla, bla.
Apart from the explosive ones that seem to be appearing hear and there.
Doesn't Rick work somewhere down that neck of the woods?
Could be someone he knows.
So how did my last post jump Des's post, and have the date 29/11/23,7.29pm?
It was posted 30/11/23,around 12.10pm,QLD time?
Oh well,no great problem i suppose.
Probably MI5 and MI6 not putting them back in chronological order.
On an old Pommie truck forum I harang, there is a nutter claiming that both agencies and the CIA are spying on the burnt out old lorry drivers' chatter and drivel, choking the speed of the board. The fact that it has operated on the same platform for almost twenty years is inconsequential. [bigrolf]
Coincidental this.[bigrolf] Just finished reading "Spy Catcher" written by Peter Wright Former Assistant Director of MI5
Published 1987. Lived in the Apple Isle as a Farmer. Died about 1995. He speaks of Philby, Mac lean, Burgess, Blunt & a host of other defectors, & tricks of his trade to catch the blighters with some way out equipment made by them.

I recollect one of the Intelligence Services (MI5 or 6) wanted to put the kibosh on the publication of this book for obvious reasons & it went to a Court of Law & he won. Was defended by none other than our Malcolm Turnbull [smilebigeye] They are still blocking a lot of the connected Files
