I suppose it depends what he is ****ing around with.
Back in the UK A-Bomb Testing days in OZ at Maralinga, a nuclear explosion was heard many many miles away as a loud "CRAK". Ok, there was only desert between the two though.:Rolling:
My apologies for attaching this to the post Rick.. Many people may not actually be aware of the Maralinga part of our history.
This gives an insight. Nothing political just history. If you are offended I'm sure a Mod would take care of it. HELL! YOU ARE A MOD AIN"T YOU?:Rolling::Thump:
The lesser known history of the Maralinga nuclear tests — and what it's like to stand at ground zero - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)
As a matter of interest I was asked to accompany a bloke who was interested in purchasing some old surplus Air Cond. gear from Maralinga. WHY? Good question.[bighmmm]
He was going to fly me over & back to get my appreciation of the gear. etc
Fortunately 'er indoors & self decided it was not worth the health risk with remaining radioactive dust etc & (before the UK/Aus joint Cleanup) so I didn't go.
Who knows, eh? Maybe I am just arsy.
Naa, there's a massive new IGA there now [emoji6]
Everytime i notice this half full bottle,it brings back old memories[thumbsupbig]

I remember about '93 or '94,when they started phasing it out,i rang Leon Miller, the then QLd manager of Kirby, and asked him for a price of 20, 60KG bottles of the stuff. And 5 of R502.
I bought the lot,and thats the last of it,in that small bottle, new, virgin, R12.
Don't use it at all these days, apart from putting some in one of my brothers Disco1, AC system, after fixing a leak on it.
I sold the last couple of 60kg bottles to an Auto AC guy that mainly did repairs on old cars.
Nothing worked in them as well as R12 did.
I still have a full drum of R22 that no-one seems to want due to the Regs around it's use.
Same cylinder size as the above. From memory aprox 16 kg. [????] Not sure this far on.
