A MUST HAVE FOR THE LANDI ENTHUSIAST

I came across a book yesterday that as a landrover enthusiast left me a bit lost for words, the author has sent 20 odd years putting it togeather, the owner of this book will not let it out of his sight and with good reason I feel. Its a bit like a history book abit like a workshop book in a minor way, you could build your own body to exact specs.
It is expensive but if any one buys it they will not be disapointed I spent about 15 minutes tracing it on the net last night and came up with on UK ebay.
I would like to hear reports from anyone that has a copy.

I have read it, very interesting. Hodgo, try your local libary; if they don't have it they can get it for you. I borrowed it from Ipswich libary, so I know it's available.

You can buy a copy directly from the author at Tony Hutchings :: Land-Rover, The early years.

I must admit that it's some years since I read it, but I wouldn't think that they would have gotten rid of it, Mick.

You wouldn't think so Ian, but I did a search and couldn't find it, so who knows. I have heard of libraries throwing out perfectly good books before.

There's a remote chance I borrowed it from another libary....maybe Cairns ....but I was reasonably confidant it came Ipswich.

Digger, can you sort a search warrant for Scallops joint?
