The first vehicle I actually owned (jointly with my brother) was not exactly a Kombi, but the VW one ton pickup. A 1955 model. Last with the opening windscreen I think. I traded it on a 1956 Series 1 at the beginning of 1963, mainly because the VW did not stand dusty roads.

I wish! A rusted out split which will need full restoration goes for A LOT! Upwards of 10k for a rusty hulk, can go up to 80k in good condition.Quote:

Mate, I sold my boat a few years ago but I'm still a member of Moreton Bay Boat Club. No difference with you that I can see.
