Dingos do bark but it is only a small part of their usual vocalisation. They bark more when they are young and much less when they are mature. I was recently at Wirrimbirra Sanctuary (see Wirrimbirra)which 'houses' the Bargo Dingo Sanctuary (see Bargo Dingo Sanctuary NSW Australia) when one of the Dingos barked almost contually for 10 minutes. I was advised that this was a regular occurence from one particular animal. It is a genetically tested pure bred Dingo.

As said Dingoes can actually bark. It is more a learned thing by them, not so much natural. Their bark is a bit different from a dogs and is more of a mimic. We had ours for 17 years and know this first hand.

That is hugely variable. In captivity can be 15 to 20. Ours we had to have put down at 17, the thing was she was fine until we had our Staffy put down (same had for 17 years, got them 3 months apart, then she seemed to pine for the Staffy and went down hil very quickly and within 3 months had to put her dow as well, When we buried the Staffy she got into the hole with her and would not get out). For those that dont know we named her Lindyand this either offended or amused people.
We miss her dearly and if we could get another pure bred I reckon we would.
Back to lifespan, it varies dramatically depending on environment, food, disease etc, but yeas apparently they can live up to 30 years, but that is fairly rare.
In the Pilbara we see them all the time. Beautiful animals that are not normally aggressive, but humans teasing and feeding them make them more agressive and less scared of humans.
