since its only being pushed by the turbine engine I cant see it ever breaking an axle.

Love to see how he handles "steep descent, engage low gear" or towing a van.

Son is currently playing an on-line 'shoot-em-up' game called "ARMA"... showed me the Deefer he's driving around the cyber-countryside, - ALL the warning lights are flashing, and one guage (Temp?)regularly dips down & back up...

Never breaks down, only runs out of fuel occasionally.

As I said, all in cyber-space....

It's a Jet Turbine....one turbine drives the compressor (the squeezy end) to self sustain the engine, the other drives a gearbox.....from there it's the same as any drive source...., the one's you see break all the time...except in this case with a **** load more power....LOL!!!!

Sorry......C130 ETC, Helos have almost no thrust out the hot end.

M1 MBT has an aviation engine in it.

Practical usage...hills, etc...NIL!!!...oh actually, they do this...

    Can I Please...

    On this sort of topic...

Was in the RAAF when a guy asked the RAAF to help get an old L9(?) UH-1H (Lyncoming?) engine running in a jet driven ski boat.

Jet A1 I think he called it (in form with the fuel it ran...bit like deisel ).

    Was an awesome sight.

It went through a couple of engines, was postponed from a race meet due to the Hawksbury flooding, fared well and then blew up during THE race. .
