Thread: phone cradle for disco 1

Hi all,

The other day,I bought a phone holder for my disco 1. It has a suction cap holder as well as one that fits into the louvres of your airvents.
Seeing as I hate the ones that hang off the windscreen,I've been using the airvent one.

The problem is the bits of plastic that are supposed to grab the back of the louvres doesnt quite reach the back,so after I have travelled about 1/2hr the thing bounces to the floor.

Has anyone bought/tried with any success a phone cradle that will sit in the airvent of a D1.

I have had the same issue as you before.
I just use the windscreen mount.
I wanted the vent mount as my phone overheats on the windscreen on a hot day using it for mapping so I thought out of the sun and in the cold air would help a lot.
