There's some nice gear there. I love the clamping tool - would be a handy thing to keep around. Good to see the Fyrlyt's make it as well.
Found this in my Twitter feed The 13 Coolest Off-Road Products from SEMA 2012. Of course there's the usual Jeep stuff but there are some good products. The spare tyre bag done a unique way, rear door table, Engel dry box but how cool is this clamping tool. It could really get you out of trouble in the bush.

I've had a small clamper for years. there's also a bigger version that'll pull tight enough (they say) to do up big compressor hose. I got mine from a farm field day somewhere.
Don.
The Factor55 prolink is a pretty interesting looking alternative to a traditional winch hook. Definitely going on the wish list.
Yeah, that is nice. They also make a matching tow bar receiver recovery hitch out of billet aluminium that is also very cool...

Umm why?
you need to have a formed loop in the end of the wire rope through which a pin can be placed to secure the prolink which you then fit the pin of the shackle through.
Some rough simplification tells me that if you're putting a pin through the eye of the rope why cant it be the pin of the shackle?
and then looking at the normal hook pictures from the website.
whats stopping you from just putting the hook into the pin of the shackle like you're supposed to do?
I'll also point out that the permissible wear levels for ally rigging gear is a lot lower than for steel stuff.
just sayin.

First thing I did was take the stupid hook off the winch and replace it with a shackle
