At any given point in time, somewhere in the world someone is working on a Land-Rover.

In Cleveland there is a series and evouge one

Seen plenty about , on the Bruce highway up near the Sunshine Coast is a range rover first and last one.

Good set of adverts about time they used their history for advertising.

spotted a smaller one on my way up to yours today...

Series one to a dealer, now that would be funny, I think they would turn it away. But technically they should offer to service it, and i bet you they can get every part they need to repair it, Genuine Land Rover, because Land Rover still have the parts...

Took an early S11 into a Land Rover dealer in the uk about 15 years ago. It was my brothers car and a mate worked at the dealership next door so he took it in for a oil change special the dealer had.

I got a call about 3 in the afternoon with the bloke saying they could not start the land rover . They have rewired the starter and replace the battery , and rewired the whole back of the dash. But still would not work

So I said to him , you have turned the key ?

    "Yeah "

Press the started button in the middle of the dash

"Button , ummm Button, hold on "

Then heard the landy start in the back ground

" Thank you for you help Sir, can I say we did not have this conversation, and your car has a new battery and been rewired free, bye"

It would be nice if they did actually support all Land-Rover models. They did have a Classic Parts department years ago that was shut down not long after it started. It was a great idea and would have made Land Rover competitive against aftermarket parts. I think Rovers North reckon they bought the bulk of it before the parts were scrapped. It seems that Land Rover feel that making money is just too much trouble.

I just think the ads are strange. It's like they drag out their special child for these "heritage" ads to show what a great company they are, and then lock him back in the closet afterwards.
