    Christmas Prawns to Melbourne

    OK Melbournites,

If you are looking for a feed of fresh Australian wild caught prawns for Christmas this year and were looking to get in on Ean Austral's wonderful offer you best let me know.

If you want prawns or bugs in accordance with the thread Seafood this Christmas, a copy of the first post in the Part 2 thread is below.

I am going to be the banker not your financier, therefore I will require your money via electronic funds transfer before I include your order on the list. Just to keep it all out in the open and above board, I would like you to let me know via this thread of your order details. I will then send you a private message with my bank account details for you to transfer the money along with your username as the reference for me to match the payment with the your order. I will then acknowledge your payment back on this thread,

I don't do this all the time so the system might not be perfect or the suggested method might not work for you, if so then send me a message and hopefully we can work something out.

When I have got seafood from Ean in the past it arrives into the Subzero Cold Store on McDonald Rd, Braybrook. Everyone will have to agree to meet at the same time to draw the consignment out of the cold-store and divide the contents out. I don't have access to a cold-store therefore it is critical that you be able to turn up to pick up your order.

I have an order from fender95vnt so you don't have to do the first part of the process, I will send you my bank details shortly.

When more details are known I will post them on this thread.

    Cheers seafood lovers.

OK after a lot of thinking and trying to work out how I can do this I think I will go this way.

I will leave it up to the people in each state to work out amoungst themselves if they can get an order together, as I dont like asking 1 person to put their hand up without realising if it will get support.

So I need a minimum of 70kgs and sent as 1 invoice and 1 consignment ( same as previous years )

    Will offer the following.

    Endeavour Prawns U/15 (large ) 3kg box = $53

    Endeavour Prawns 10/20 (medium) 3kg box $43

    Bugs Whole 1kg bag $21
Will do 5kg boxes of smaller size bugs for $85

I haven't offered tigers this year as the catches were low and the export price is up. I can quote on them if you send me a PM.

So its now upto you guys to decide if you can get together in each state and put in an order.

Sorry, but this is the only fair way I can see this can be done.

As always, check local prices as I have to build freight charges into the price.

    Cheers Ean.

PS I dont make any $$$ out of this, I am doing it as I want to see Australian seafood offered within Australia.

Before we get too many more takers I will inform you that there is a possible change to a different cold store. I am sure it will be somewhere in the vicinity of the one listed above. I'll let you know soon.

I'll confirm requirements tomorrow, but most likely we are in for a 3kg box.

    Ladies and Gents,

I have got in touch with Ean and we need to have orders to him by 30 Nov. Coldstore here in Melbourne will be Subzero as Toll will only do pallet loads now and the other mob that use Subzero deal by the kg.

    Cheers

Thanks for the PM this morning - money has been transferred. Subzero suits me fine - it is 30 seconds from one of our branches.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

Gav, would I be able to hitch a ride with you or get you to pick up a box for us for me to collect locally from you?
