Just want to convey me weekend activities.

Got a second hand disco 2 and thought do all the fluids so bought and Ebay kit and off I go.

Air filter change check

Diff oils's change check

Check belt and hoses look good

Drop is some Liquid Moli engine detox and idle engine crawl underneath and sump plug bolts rounded off which I make worse with a double hex socket and multigrips. Sh*t what to do call up Rangie heaven got a spare sump plug, no but bring it around and see what we can do. Being 7 k's from home and never being there before off I go else I am stuffed I did not want to drive to far with detergent in the motor

Well on the hoist it went out it was got with a ratchet gun and guys there on a saturday arvo proceed to inspect the car (thankfully nothing wrong) and finish service using my bought bits and oil all for the price of a slab

So I think this type of assistance needs to be highlighted and I will be going back next week for the transmission and more work from hereon in having finished the crank case change today (dont trust wife in car swaping gears whilst I plunge oil int the transmission laying under the car)

PS love the disco which is stock but soon wont be I have visions of a family tourer
