Good idea, maybe some bar LEDs. Above all some driving lessons would not go astray, so many of these get driven dangerously and arrogantly.
My FIL has just got himself a new mobility scooter and it's a pretty good thing except that the lights aren't that good. I was thinking of adding a couple of small LED work or fog lights. I'd appreciate any advice as to what sort of light or any alternatives as there are heaps of different types and I'm not right up to speed on what's what.
Thanks,
Anthony.

Most mobility scooters are 24V lead acid powered, just buy one or two multivolt LED spots/floods for it. Example:

Very compact and bright. I have the spot version on one of my bicycles, good for 40km/h (!)

Pfah. I'll give you a mobility scooter. P76 engine, installed on an old ride-on mower chassis mainly for the musical exhaust, drives through one "A" section belt so adequate for towing his esky-on-wheels to the top of Mt Panorama (or so he says).
