Engine room at throttles of HMAS Melbourne
Engine room off Proud Sydney, a small privately owned liner, with my Gemmy twins a pair of 8V71's noisy but fun toys.
My last ship, One and All, she had a single Volvo 400HP Penta, but was a lot faster under those 13 big bits of canvas.
These days I spend more time with these, playing country and blues with friends.
And yes, that's a 1958 Maton on the very right hand end, in the middle is my dear little 1952 Hofner, rescued from having been nailed to a shearing shed wall.
