    What an interesting thread.

Here's my office - the bumpiest car I've ever been in, round and round the twelve streets in town with L-plates on, nagging people to drive properly. That's when the car hasn't been stolen, or the registration allowed to lapse, or something's not broken . . . ahhh, the joys of a non-profit organisation.

Uncle, my legs are such items of masculine beauty that when I walk around in public wearing shorts, toothsome young maidens almost swoon and wave their pants at me.

No, it's very small. There are literally about twelve paved streets. This makes driving lessons rather repetitive.

Plenty of sparkies around - I think in the last year or so tradies have outnumbered the residents! There's been a building boom for the last while.

Port Moresby / Rabaul circa 1980?
    or

    Kabul circa 1975?

It goes well; but departure angle and off-bitumen ability is woeful.

We're also changing to a dark blue uniform - Rollout in May '13 apparently. I'm still not sold with the colour scheme....
