The ones that are are a poor choice and do not help indicating the intent of the post.
Look at DISCO4.COM - Index and see the choices they give.
More positives would help. Why the two lock thread ones?

i might just kill all "inteligent" discussion other than the colour of landrovers i think.

am over the behavior, intolererance and arrogance displayed by the few.

just dished out a heap of warnings and deleted a thread.


if the tone of the place doesnt start picking back up shortly a man will have to take some more serious actions.

if you don't have something positive to add, don't bother commenting

if you just comment to incite, dont bother, thats my job...

if you cant get your point across with out calling people names, don't bother... it's my job.

if you dont like a post or think it is unbecoming, trollish and / or a personal attack, use the report button so that the mods are alerted and can act as required.

no wonder they call it the silly season.

Inc the site is one of the best of any I have seen and is a credit to yourself and majority of members, however...

I too was happy to see the Soapbox close and would be happy for the Cantina to be gone too.

There are plenty of places for the folks who have endless hrs to spend posting little more than asenine arguements with anybody who has an opinion different to theirs, especially when it has absolutely nothing to do with LR's.

As an extra I feel the mods do a great job and dont believe that it is fair for them to have to trawl through these posts when they could probably be doing something far more productive with their time.

Just my two cents.

I agree, I made an of myself on a subject close to the heart in the last couple of days (no I wasn't one of the people referred to in Inc's post), and as a result have decided not to visit the cantina anymore. I feel my reputation can be destroyed (as can anyone's) too easily because whilst we may all have good intentions to stay on track, it's too easy to get emotional on any given subject. That reputation once damaged will naturally carry over into the other areas of the forum.....I personally don't want that for myself, or to feel that I cannot ask another member for assistance or advice elsewhere because of a mindless argument on Cantina.

I don't form any sort of opinion of anyone by reading a post. and also if you have an opinion in one post that opinion will not be a binding view and you get a clean slate in future posts.

People need to relax
