I still have banner ads at the top and bottom of each page, but nothing that interferes with the posts.
do you mean no ads or no more of those annoying ones as stated before?

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
Is there anyway I can use add blocker on every other website but not this?
Hello Incisor,
It is a great testament to how good the AULRO site is that when I clicked on "New Posts" it showed that there were over 600 of them just for today. This means of course that AULRO is very healthy and there are a lot of dedicated people out there who like participating in the forum.
I am just wondering if it would be possible to set up a "New Post" option which is searchable? For example, in the advanced search option keywords can be limited to specific threads which can be selected by clicking on them. Would it be possible to be quickly access new posts which are for example limited to "Series Land Rovers" and to SLow? and Military Vehicles.
It might also limit me from seeing very interesting new types of Land Rover manufactured products and go "Oh they look nice I should find out some more about them". Then a quick 10 minute catch-up visit to AULRO winds up being an hour long visit - in short a wee bit addictive.
Kind Regards
Lionel
you mean like a filter?
I think it woudl be good but i just search through it all. But good idea Lionel
G'day Schmeirer,
I am not up with the terminology but a "new post" filter sounds about right. Searching through all the new post is a dangerous activity. I first visited AULRO to find out more about International Australian ex-Army 4x4 and 6x6 vehicles and then stumbled upon ex-Army Land Rovers and became interested in them so much that I now have more than one Series 3. Then I got interested in the Land Rover Discovery. So searching through new and interesting posts is pretty dangerous stuff. I still don't have an International Truck though
Kind Regards
Lionel
