Got to say, Inc., it's getting a bit beyond you to improve.
I think a lot of improvements can and should be done by those that use the forum.
Staying on topic in the projects and tutorials is a good example.
Although, going off topic is a feature I enjoy. You never know where it will lead you.
Maybe a little more house keeping might be worthwhile. Splitting and combining threads.

I came across these guidelines in another forum (in part)

"Try and avoid posts which could be dull to other members or replies which don't really add to the topic under discussion."

"Try and keep your replies to topics 'on subject' and avoid disappearing off into randomness."

"Avoid using the forum as a way to send personal messages to other members - unless you think others would be interested in the response"

    W.

    expanding on that...

how about a relevant reply option?

Repliers get to rate the relevance of their post to the major topic of the thread before they post it. 3 levels should do it

    1. High relevance, this post is a continuation of or offers further detail to the matter at hand
    2. relevant - offers other information related to but not absolutely required
    3. Side track - not related to the technical detail but offers continutity or other history to the thread chatter.

anything further off base can be reported and deleted.

I tend to just lurk in particular sections but these are my thoughts:

    * Stickies: Try & reduce the numbers.
    * WiKi: Sounds like a good idea. A trawl through the existing technical stuff will be a good starting point.
    * Searching: Encourage people to use the search functions more.
    * Getting involved: Encouraging people to get involved more, create & update WiKis, etc...

    My 2p.

How about a 'Your Posts/Threads/Quotes' link up the top somewhere (like here http://forums.overclockers.com.au/)?

I 'spose a motorcycle section is out of the question?

Keep up the good work, not too much needs improvement here

It's just a bit difficult trawling through all my recent threads to find the one that's been replied too
