Best Song Ever

Yeah, Tony, a couple of years ago I went to Sydney to see the musical "War of The Worlds" what an absolutely fantastic production, it was worth every cent of the admission price.
The original came out in 1978 and I bought the album, still got it along with quite a few other LP's. Well they had the original LP on sale at the show for $200:o . I did buy a DVD of the show, I think I paid something like $30 for it.

War of The Worlds the musical is right at the top of my favourites.:D:D I have it on LP. DVD and CD.:D:D

Goanna - Solid Rock.

(I can't pick between those two)

For lyrics, possibly Dylan's The Times They Are a-Changin.
For sound, all of Joni Mitchell's Shine album is just lovely.

But there are so many...

For Me;

Al Stewart 'Year of the Cat', dreadful voice but what an evocative song!

And 'Flame Trees' by Chisel
