congratulations, like the surroundings
Congratulations!
How did you get round the 1 month Notice of Intention to Marry? In NSW at least you need to give the celebrant one month's notice - is it different in QLD?
I took my first wedding on Sunday. A 91 bloke married an 80 woman.
Well done and congratulations.
Congratulations Weeds, I wish you and Wendy a lifetime of happiness.
Cheers, Mick.

i knew i had to check what needed to be done legally but.............i only checked the website out 25 days prior. all cool as i had a work around
everything proceeded on the like any normal wedding. the celebrant could not say certain words on the day but that didn't bother me. we than signed a copy of a certificate so it al looked rigidig...
we are filling the paperwork out this week and will wait our 30 days. we will than pop out for lunch with the celebrant so that she can say the legal bits and than we can sign the offical certificate
we will always celebrate our wedding on the 8th Dec......and probably have another little celebration on the date that our marriage certificate states
one tip......don't ring births, deaths and marriages and ask for an exemption to the rules........they instantly thought i was up to no goodand gave me a roasting. they were not impressed when i mentioned i had a work around

Great way of doing it if it suits. Marriage is not about the legal document, so why let that change your wedding plans!!
I've had quite a few friends get married where it was not practical to do the legal stuff on the day - for various reasons - and I don't believe any of it was less special. Good stuff.
Edit: forgot the important bit: CONGRATS!!!!!!!![]()
