    SEQ - who's camping where over the XMAS break

    I'm braving teewah beach

    arrive Sat 22
    depart Sat 29

    will be flying land rover and RAEME flags, drop in for a beer if you're driving past

    i know its going to be busy but hopfully we can squeze in somewhere among the crowds. we were thinking moreton or frazer but thought we would put it off until another time when we have the kids. daily trips to double island point are on the agenda

    Hope you have a good time & not tooooo crowded although you obviously know what to expect. GPS Override & myself off to Moogerah Dam this Friday for a few days boat fishing. We usually stay home & off the beaten tracks over Chrissie. Hope all who travel do so safely.

    Mate I've only fished an impoundment once before (Somerset). I have a preference for river fish. They seem to be a lot more physical than the impoundment fish. I'm only a stones throw from the top end of the North Pine River & also try to fish West Kunderang as much as possible with mates. Have been going for there 10 or more years & love it. Great spot!!!!!

    Great place.. I was there last weekend and it was crowded then!

    I'll be at Land Cruiser Mountain park catching up with friends from England whom we met there in 2009.. they are returning this year for another holiday so we thought it only fitting to meet up where we met before..

    Ironically the husband is in upper management with Land Rover in the UK and upon hearing that we are friends with Arthur Goddard's son and could contact Arthur he returned home and organised for Land Rover to fly him back to be a part of their celebrations the following year. Who knows what will come of this years camping trip..

    I'll be there from the 29th Dec - 2nd Jan.. feel free to drop in and say hi.. we are pretty easy to find.. Pete drives a bright yellow Disco and my Defender has eyelashes..
