    Christmas present

Who is getting exactly what they would like? I am!! Slightly belated but will arive on 6th Feb. No, not a new car or anything like it. My specialist has finally agreed that I need a knee replacement. Having limped around for just over 12 mths he finally agreed. He cant understand why I am excited, considering the pain and discomfort ( I had one done 11 years ago so I know what I am in for), but it will mean I can drive a manual again without grunting in pain each time I shove the clutch in. good on ya Jim, my MIL is currently recovering from a double knee replacement 3 weeks ago today. She had been putting it off for two years and getting by on dosing herself up on Endone. She really went for a "trip" post op once they started her on pain killers. the combination of Endone and another did not agree with her at all. She thought she was being kidnapped along with her grandchildren and that people were jumping off the top of the hospital!!

Hopefully that will not happen to you and, if it does, it is of the more pleasant kind of "experience".

    Good luck with it.
    Cheers,

    Sean
