    Gladstone freetime

    Anyone from gladstone?

    I'm up there for the day to check on a property on Thursday.

    I fly in at 10 got an 11:00 appointment for an hour and got free time until 17:00

    Can anyone tell me if there is there anyting up there to do to kill a few hours? Ill have a hire car and was just thinking of going for a drive?

    Mmmmmmm things to do and Gladstone are not words i would normally use together.
    Maybe drive down to Boyne Island /Tannum Sands for a look/relax at the beach and some lunch, then a drive out to awoonga dam for a peek but other than that not a lot to do.
    All up that should take about 2 hrs depending on how long you can stretch out your lunch.

    Oh ok then thanks for that.

    I bet it's not as bad as Port hedland

    Any way i'll be up there if anyone is bored and likes meeting strangers from the other side of australia
