But I must agree... when I was in Melbourne I found drivers (in certain areas) were maniacal...
Sydney was harsh but fair, Adelaide drivers terrified of their coppers. and Queenslanders were...
NSW outback was, sort of in-between. :p

I'd have just shot him... :D
I don't reckon that Melb drivers are too bad in general. There is an element that are just chronically bad. It's mostly that they are just bloody pushy, and can't stand the thought that anyone else might gain a fraction of a millimetre of "advantage". You know the kind: weaving in and out of freeway traffic at a 140kmh (the last bloke I saw doing that got pulled over by cops about 45 seconds later), driving through red lights into intersections only to get stuck midway and end up blocking cross traffic, driving down closed lanes so they can force their way in further down the queue because they are ohhh soooo special and sooo much more important than everyone else. This is all usually done with a Mobile pressed to their ear.
Jeez Bussy are you sleep deprived? I think a few apologies from you are in order.
Back to the thread.
Ex cop.........ex where? He had what appeared to be a Saffa accent, he could have been a third world country officer, where the standards and training are not up to the high results of this country. Being an ex or serving cop does not make one Superman, they are all human like the rest of us with senses of fear and self presevation. I think he handled the situation quite well, all things considered.
The goose did not surrender himself, as he allegedly stated he would, this morning. The police are looking for him. There could be dozens or reasons the police have not been able to locate him yet. He has an obvious contempt for the law and plain human decency and could be in hiding at another address or hasn't kept his rego details up to date.
Gotta confess, mobiles were'nt invented when I was there previously... and it was the CBD to Mordialloc that gave me the most fun... especially the suicide lane on the Nepean Highway. - You know, where they used to have those clock-faced traffic lights/pedestrian crossing... And yes, it seemed that members of a certain Mediterranean culture were overly represented amongst the homicidedly insane.
MEANZ, your cops would have thanked you. (for saving them the papework) - but our will arrest and charge you with everything they can think of.
- Despite the paperwork...
I dont know latin but watch out .... you might get an infraction using language like that. :o
No harm done, your post was valid and warranted, if I knew how to edit video and save it at its original quality I would have put a bleep in it. Any time I tried to edit it the quality gets compromised.
good intentions but the mods dont see it that way.
If I had been in his situation, the thought might have occurred to me that given his complete disregard for others, that the driver of the dark ute might step out with a gun.
Perhaps that thought occurred to him as well and made him a little less composed than he might have otherwise been.
Perhaps his composure was also affected by the unhelpful response he seemed to be getting from 000.
