My 'Westlakes' on the Classic were around $110 each (mate's rates) and they're perfectly round, wearing evenly, well balanced from new very predictable grip (average to good) but are... um, "exciting" in the wet.
    - but as mine is a rear-wheel drive Classic, roundabouts are fun

And as quiet as I could wish for. Too quiet, they don't hide the transmission noise...

You get what you pay for, just look for the area they've compromised. Few things are as annoying as out-of-round tyres.

The Continentals sound good value for what you need.

I would like to thank boofdtl for his advice and great offer. It would have been worth the trip to Melbourne, but so close to Christmas could not find the time.

    Thanks Boof
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."
