Thread: Damned March Flies

Certainly among the most annoying of God's fine creations. The blighters seem to be attracted to dark colours, and probably movement as well. Commercial traps for March flies (and Tsetse flies) are made with black and blue material.
In the bush I wear light clothing and dark boots. When sitting quiet the flies gather harmlessly on my boots where they can be conveniently swatted.

i like to swat them then pull a wing off and feed them to the ants and golden orb spiders they love them
