The post was deleted as it involved trading parts in the general forum. The markets is the place for this....or via PM as you've done.
I have started a thread about the troubles I have had with my ute`s door tops. All was good, got a few varied posts about where to get new ones. Now one post I was interested in so sent a pm of. Now for some reason the post from that person has disappeared. Was a harmless enough post containing nothing that would even offend the pope, hmmm the mods here might be the next step up from the pope. Anyway I have received a reply to my pm so have been able to contact the person. Still would like to know where the missing post went.

As a follow up to deleting a post a simple pm to the offending parties explaining there infraction of the rules would save people from making post as I did. Could be a standard template type message that all the mods do is ad the name and of goes the pm. I do realise there are rules to be read and known by heart but for mere mortals like me my memory is not water tight so a friendly pm would be nice to remind me of what I should have already known.

Simple - read the stickies in each of the forum sections, e.g., Conditions of Access thread.
So many of you blokes do try selling and buying in the forums and I'm not going to PM every one of you when I delete a post. I do PM those who are new to the forum.
I was the one who deleted the trading posts.
Oh, and I've moved this thread as it has nothing to do with Computers and IT - I do this with many threads which are in the wrong area (as was your post about the Series door tops).
