    The LR website (click the "specifications and capabilities" link in the LH menu) lists the maximum gradient for the 90 and the 110 as 45º.

    So if they list that as a specification one would rightly assume that a vehicle can travel up an incline greater than 18º. At least a Defender can.

    Don't know about those Discos, but they aren't anything special anyway. ...did I say that??

    I do recall once seeing a LR promotional video of a defender driving up and down a 45º incline. It was cement or something and looked to be part of a test track or proving ground if I remember right but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

    I believe all the "old" landys were 45 degrees up or across, I believe this was a big marketing thing back in the day
    Well that's what I was told by an old landy nut
